"Beat the Stereotypes"

Does the music make the artist or do the FANS make the artist?

Referring to the question I posted about VMAs.

This is going to be a little ranty. HA. But anywayssss, I know a lot of people like Kreayshawn. But for what? She has had only ONE hit song, that wasn’t even truly a hit. I believe it’s the fanbase of most people that push the artist to even get recognized. It’s not even about having talent anymore. Now a days people could drop right out of high school, make a song about oodles and noodles and become famous as long as they have “swag”. Oh, that over used word. Swag. Many of us claim to have it when in reality we don’t. Kreayshawn can swear UP and DOWN that she has swag but to me, she’s just as basic as those girls she was talking about. Tattoos, smoking weed, rapping about drugs and guns. BASIC! Look at the artist you so called “love” does their music even have any relevancy or value? Or are you trying to pump into everyone else’s head, that they are the greatest no matter how TRASH they actually are. If Kreayshawn didn’t put on a ‘show’ and just straight rapped. Her fanbase would be much more diminished. Just sayinnnnnn’. lol

Another day in The Life...

For some odd reason, every single time I'm behind someone going up or down the steps, they end up FALLING! Do I actract clumsy people?! Is it my fault that people are falling up and down steps everywhere?! This epidemic needs to stop, or I might just die of laughter!

Hii, I'm Kiyla I'm a 17 year old senior in high school from SouthEast PA!.I have beyond high expectations, and I'm very ambitious..I love writing, blogging, vlogging, Snogging..lol. You will soon learn that I'm very silly. I'm passionate about everything I do, I don't HALF do anything. Performing is my life, and as I grow older, the more open I am to expressing myself. Did I mention that I'm a senior which means...6 applications due in a week. AP classes from here to tokyo (Konnichiwa! ^u^). In almost every Extra Curricular Possible, in addition to my performance in december which means endless practice. All in All, I'll always make time for the things I love, including this blog. I'll be discussing everything from trends, life experiences and struggles, and basically an insight on my life as well as India's :)
